Benidorm or bust

The Original Banger Rally to Benidorm

Our Charles Grosvenor team of four are participating as the legendary 80’s action adventure former special forces mercenaries, The ‘A-Team’.   Embracing the theme further, the boys have donned the costumes to reflect the characters distinct personalities.

What is

benidorm or bust

The ‘Benidorm or Bust’ rally is an exciting and adventurous event where teams of colleagues or friends embark on a road trip to the sunny Spanish city of Benidorm, often in budget-friendly and quirky vehicles.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for team building, camaraderie, and creating unforgettable memories outside the traditional work environment.

Teams typically decorate their cars with fun, themed designs, adding to the spirit of the rally. The journey is as much about adventure and the challenges along the way as it is about the destination

Participants often engage in various challenges and activities enroute, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.  Its an excellent chance for our team to bond, showcase their creativity and experience the thrill of the open road.

to take part in benidorm or bust

Participants have to have a theme, the lads chose The A-Team.  They have customized their £500 Kia Sedona to resemble The   A-Team’s legendary van, complete with the bold black and red colour scheme.

Embracing the theme further, the boys have donned the costumes to reflect the characters distinct personalities – Hannibal’s leadership, B A Baracus’s strength, Face’s charm and Murdock’s eccentricity.  Their teamwork and theatrics are proving to turn the rally into a memorable escapade, creating stories and memories to be recounted over office breaks for years to come.

We just hope they are ready for some laughs, surprises, and maybe even a few mechanicle mishaps – remember, it’s all part of the fun!

a few hiccups

along the way

Embarking on the Benidorm or Bust road trip, is an exciting adventure brimming with anticipation for sun, sea, and fun.

However, the phrase “Benidorm or bust” also humorously captures the unpredictable nature of the journey, where the path to paradise was littered with unexpected breakdowns.

From a flat tyre to an overheated engine and that mysterious dashboard light.

Thankfully patience,  resourcefulness and a great picnic, all made the trip a successful one.

Crucially the team were prepared and packed essential tools for such situations.  However, with a good sense of humor, this troublesome journey has become a memorable story of unique experiences.

Remember as 'Hannibal' would say

"i love it when a plan comes together"

So, the boys made it!

As mentioned earlier, they may have experienced a few hiccups and frustrations along the way, but they arrived safe and sound  and survived the Benidorm or Bust banger rally.

Congratulations lads, amazing achievement.

Now, if they can just find their way back to Redditch.
