Role Requirements

Full UK Driving License

Hands-on experience in loft installation, including structural adaptations and insulation fitting
Strong understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations on-site
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a construction environment
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Relevant trade certifications or qualifications in construction are an advantage
Physical fitness and capability to perform hands-on tasks

Experienced Loft Installation Team

Role Descrition

We are looking for an Experienced Loft Installation Team, located in Birmingham and The West Midlands. The role involves complete loft installation services as detailed below:

Installation of steel and timber floor beams and completion of the loft floor.
Installation of VELUX roof windows, flat roof domes and UPVc windows.
Construction of the dormer to include the vertical tile hanging, fascia and soffit etc.
Installation of all insulation.
Internal partitions and dry lining.
Installation of the staircase
Complete carpentry second fix after the plastering is complete

Please note that any plumbing, electrical work, felt roofing to the flat roof and plastering would be done by other contractors.

The majority of the materials will be crane lifted onto a scaffolding loading bay at gutter level on day one and any further materials would be delivered on a twice weekly basis as required, to ensure that the loft team work as effectively as possible during their time on site.

The loft team would be fully supported by the project manager who would make regular visits to site.

Driver / Labourer / Yardsperson

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver / Labourer / Yardsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations & clearing sites. This role requires excellent communication skills. Experience in delivery driving, particularly with vans or flatbed vehicles, is highly desirable. The role will also involve lifting and carrying when clearing sites. This is a Full-Time Position (40 Hour Contract)

Full Clean Driving Licence Required.

Good Rate of Pay.

Role will involve:

Driving & Delivering to site.

Manual Handling

Clearing Sites

Full Training will be given
